Obituary:

Adeline "Addie" Wilensky Perl, age 84 of Deephaven, MN. and Palm Beach, FL died on December 26th. Preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Vera Wilensky. Addie is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Norman; by her children, Robbie Perl (Richard Garon), Stacy Sokol (Mike), Justin Perl (Lynn), and Lisa Ratner (Mark); her grandchildren, Joshua Sokol (Kayleen), Amy Erickson (Chris), Alexandra and Phillip Perl, and Laura, Joel, and Jacob Ratner; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Audrey, Ellie, and Delilah Sokol and Evan and Eli Erickson. Addie is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Ormond Sacks. Addie devoted her life to family, friends, and organizations close to her heart. She held numerous leadership positions in Hadassah, at the Talmud Torah, on the MN. Board of Teaching, and at Atlas Travel. She enjoyed mentoring and training people to become leaders in the volunteer organizations of her passion. Education was always extremely important for herself and for her children. After her four children were in school, Addie decided to go back to the University of Minnesota to earn an Associate Arts Degree. She also chose to have a Bat Mitzvah later in life, because she was unable to have one at 13. Addie will always be warmly and lovingly remembered and cherished by the people she touched for her beautiful and giving heart, her gracious style, and for her dedication to friends, family, and to the world around her. We wish her peace and blessings for all of the good things she did in life, her guidance and teachings, and her steadfast love and support. You will always be close in our hearts. Funeral service 2:00 PM THURSDAY, (TODAY), December 27th, at Adath Jeshurun Congregation, 10500 Hillside Lane West, Minnetonka, 55305. Shiva will be held Thursday 7 PM at Adath Jeshurun Congregation.
